Some opinions about slang

   A few days ago,we had a discussion about slang.

   I think use slang is ok ,but we should use it in the correct situation.I always use slang in Chinese,because i think when we meet our friends ,stay with our friends ,we can use slang ,it can make us close to each other.In addition i think the standards of language are not falling in China,due to people use more and more words now ,and some new words are brought in our language ,on the other side we don't forget the old words ,so the standards of language maybe not falling .What is more ,i think maybe i don't speak my language very well ,because there are still some difficult Chinese characters i don't know so i don't have enough confidence to see i speak Chinese very well.Although maybe in English ,use slang will make you sound stupid.

    English slang :hey man ,hey guys ,what's up.....(maybe these are slang ;)

A trip in the Victoria and Albert Museum

   Few days ago, we five girls and laura went to the Victoria and Albert Museum.It was a very interesting experience for me.I saw many classic artworks,and i always shocked by these amazing things.In ancient times ,even though people didn't have advanced technology ,they also created these fantastic things.Nowadays we have technology, but we can't create some amazing things like these!

it was a nice day,sunshine is very beautiful.;)......

laura is very patience ,she showed us some interesting things and told us the history about the artworks,so laura is very nice we all love her!!

I had a good time there,and i will never forget it !

summary.....

     I have been London for a month.In this month i have studied many things but still have some problems in learning English .For example i think grammar is a difficult problem for me so maybe i should do some exercises to improve it.Then i also think my speaking is not very well so i should talk to others more than before.In the later days i will overcome these problems and i hope i will do better than before 。

many places a lot of happiness....

I have been to London for three weeks and we five girls went to many interesting places together.let me show you :)

we have been to many places such as oxford circus, regent street,portobello road,covent garden ...and so on.Like shopping is a common factor in girls,so we went to these places to see many funny things ,it's really nice .

   the church at dusk looks very beautiful....and i have seen many different kinds of churches in London.

                               the night in covent garden...covent garden have many shops ,we all love this places and we have been to there for many times.

                              this is regent street .i think these buildings are great and beautiful.we have been there last weekend.:)

                          we have been to this cloth shop.i think this shop is very ecology and have many beautiful clothes..:)

                              every time we go home after shopping is closed to night.   wahaaaaa....

                                  emma watson in selfridge &co...i really like her but i haven't seen her .bad lucky:(....

  

we have been to the British Museum last Friday...and i have seen many fantastic things.

i think this pink car is very cute .

i really love this jingde zhen porcelain dish and it comes from China.

London have many interesting places ,i want to go around to see many beautiful sites and enjoy the time in London .Finally i really really miss my family ....

Do women usually work after they get married in your country? 


Yes of course.I think in my country women have their right for work, if they want to do they will work.And the society become fairly now so people don't have any prejudice with women .So i think women should do what they like .It just depends on themselves.


Do lots of people in your country work overtime? Are they paid extra money for this?


I think most people work overtime.Because people have many tasks to deal with ,if they don't work overtime ,maybe they can't finish the work on time . And i think companies always want to have the biggest benefit so the boss will order staffs work long time to create the benefit.With the development of society ,when people work overtime they can paid extra money for their work.And maybe the extra money depend on their work time.


Do you think it is more important to make a lot of money or to enjoy your job?


I think enjoy your job is more important.On the one hand if you enjoy your job you can be happy     every day and you can do your job better ,without more pressure and stress,just enjoy it.Besides do things what you like to do is a very       .On the other hand if you make a lot of money but you don't like your job ,you  will feel very tired everyday .And doing job become a thing just for money ,that is a very bad thing i think.


Do many women in your country work in the military? Police force? Government?


I think not many women work in military,police force,government.Because maybe the work in military and police force is hard for women.And the mechanism need the strong ,powerful staff ,so maybe women isn't suitable for this.In the government ,i think there also have some women but not many .Because politics is a game for man ,women don't have many chance to join it .I think there also  have prejudice in women  .


Do you think women and men should be paid the same for the same job?


I think women and men should be paid the same for the same job.Because the society need fairness .Women and men should be treated as well,so this can be make the society better.


Do many people work from home in your country? What are the positives and negatives of working from home? 


I think there are many people work from home in china.Because we have many special works,such as writer painter,professional player....and so on.Internet become a main tool is an important reason for this phenomenon.I think work at home is convinent and time-saving.But this maybe not for good health.people may not take exercises ,stay at home a whole day,and people who work at home will have less time to communicate with others,that will cause some troubles in people's relationship.
